About

Kate Zera Kray received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Iowa, in 2000. She worked in the field of child welfare, before pursuing an advanced degree.  Kate earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 2004, where the training was very clinical and theoretical in nature.

Born and raised in Chicago, Kate has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2008 in the state of Georgia, upon completion of required 3,000 hours of clinical experience and accompanying supervision.

Professionally, Kate has a thirst for knowledge and keeps abreast of the cutting edge research in the field of mental health.  Kate is a member of professional organizations and utilizes peer and individual consultation.

Personally, Kate draws on her own life experiences in her role(s) as a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother of two (amazing!) teenagers.  She believes in creating a healthy work-life balance for herself, as well as for those that she counsels.
